Lucy Jodoin

COLONIE – Lucy G. (Almendo) Jodoin, 81, passed away on Tuesday, October 17, 2006 at St. Peter's Hospital, with her husband by her side. She was born in Albany and was the daughter of the late Angela Rose Del Prete and Vincenzo Almendo. Mrs. Jodoin retired in 1984, after 38 years of service with Key Bank, also known as National Commercial Bank and Trust Co. (The Bank) as Head Teller. Lucy is the beloved wife of Arthur J. Jodoin, Jr. She is the sister of Marie C. Morelli and the late Angeline Kurtzner and Michael X. Almendo. She is the sister-in-law of Anthony W. Morelli and Robert J. Kurtzner, Sr. Lucy is the aunt of Theresa R. Morelli and Robert J. Kurtzner, Jr. and his wife, Kathleen; great-aunt of Sierra Newton, MacKenzie and Torrey Kurtzner of Vermont. Also surviving are her husband's children, Arthur J. Jodoin, III of Utica and Kathy Johnson of Maine. Lucy is the sister-in-law of Donnie Hanes and his wife, Linda and Sally Knight and her husband, Jimmy of Maryland.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Saturday morning at 9:00 at St. Francis de Sales Church, Maria Drive, Loudonville. Interment will follow in Our Lady of Angels Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Peter's Hospital Cardiac Center, c/o St. Peter's Foundation, Suite 309, 319 South Manning Blvd., Albany, NY 12208 in memory of Lucy G.
