Lucy Sheldon

COLONIE – Lucy T. Sheldon, 88, of Colonie, passed away on Wednesday, March 08, 2006, surrounded by her loving family at Samaritan Hospital. Born in Bronx, NY, she was the daughter of the late Pasquale and Giovinnia Aiezza. Mrs. Sheldon was a resident of Albany for most of her life. She was an avid knitter and especially enjoyed cooking for her family and spending time with them. Lucy is the beloved wife of the late Wallace B. Sheldon. She is the devoted mother of Patrick (Joanne) Sheldon, Patricia (Patrick) Sullivan, Lawrence (Roseann) Sheldon and Mark (Geraldine) Sheldon. She is the sister of Andrew Aiezza, Mary Triolla, Jennie Stumpf, Rose Teason, Salvatore (Sonny) Aiezza, Anna Mottolese and the late Carmen Aiezza, Patsy Aiezza and Betty Holmes. Also surviving are eleven grandchildren, twenty great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend funeral services on Saturday morning at 9:00 at Grace Fellowship Church on Delatour Rd. in Colonie. Calling hours will be Friday from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. at New Comer-Cannon Family Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd., Colonie (Rt. 155-south of Central Ave). Interment will be in Our Lady of Angels Cemetery, Colonie. In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate contributions be made to Grace Fellowship Church, Attention: Phil Catchpole, P.O.
