Luella B. Edwards, 89, of Rotterdam passed away on Tuesday, May 23, 2017.
Luella was the daughter of the late Harry and Marion Williams. Luella was the devoted wife to the late Kenny Edwards. They were married 10 years.
Luella was a member of the Moose Lodge for many years and Carmen United Methodist Church. Luella enjoyed many hobbies including knitting, crocheting and quilting.
Luella is survived by her daughter, Gracelyn P. (Rife) Denton, son, Charles R. (Sylvia) LaPorte and daughter-in-law Bernice Jarvis. Of her eight siblings, she is survived by one brother, Wendell (Eileen) Williams, ten grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren, and eight great-great grandchildren, as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by her son, Harold J. Jarvis.
A memorial service will take place at 11 a.m., on Monday, June 5, at Carmen United Methodist Church, 2350 Hamburg St., Schenectady
Interment will take place on Tuesday, June 6, at 12:30 p.m., at Gerald B.H. Solomon Saratoga National Cemetery. Please meet at the cemetery gate by 12:15 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Carmen United Methodist Church.
