Luigi N. Lovisa, 95, of Schenectady passed away on August 30, 2018 surrounded by his loving family.
He was born on January 21, 1923 in Cavasso Nuovo, Italy to the late Giacamo and Gisella (DaPrat) Lovisa.
Luigi proudly served in the Italian Army during World War II. He emigrated to the United States in 1961 first residing in the Texas area before making Schenectady his home. He was employed for many years by Desco Vitro Glaze as a Terrazzo mason.
Predeceased by his devoted wife of 53 years, Irene (Rossi) Lovisa. Also predeceaced by his two brothers, Guillamo and Osvaldo Lovisa.
Survived by his son, Gabriele Lovisa and daugther Maria (John) Wukitsch, loving grandfather to Michael (Jaclyn) Wukitsch and Paul Wukitsch.
