Lydia N. Howe, 89, of South Windsor, CT and formerly of Colonie, NY died Tuesday February 14, 2006 at the Manchester Memorial Hospital in Manchester, CT.
Lydia was born on July 12, 1916 in New Bedford, MA and was the daughter of the late Philip Nicholas and Jennie Nicholas Sterge. She was a member of St. Clare's Church and worked for New York State.
Lydia was predeceased by her loving husband of 58 years, Cyril F. Howe, he died on September 21, 2000 and a brother, Chris Sterge.
Lydia is survived by her sons, Cyril F. (Pat) Howe Jr. of Northville, MI and Timothy J. (Lolly) Howe of South Windsor, CT; her sisters, Madaline Crowell and Helen Crapo; her grandchildren, Krista, Ryan (Nicole), Jason, Sara, Jamie and Mickey Howe and a great granddaughter, Mackenna Howe.
All are invited at 9 a.m. Friday at St. Clare's Church in Colonie, where the Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated. Interment will follow at Memory's Garden in Colonie. There will be no calling hours.
Arrangements are in the care of New Comer-Cannon Family Funeral Home 343 New Karner Road, Colonie, NY.
