Lynn K. LaMay, 67, passed away on Sunday December 30, 2018 at St. Peter's hospital. She
was born on Friday December 13, 1951 to John Buechs and Thelma Delaney in Albany,
NY.
She graduated Albany High School, and pursued a career in nursing. Lynn was a
caregiver at heart always putting others needs before her own. Lynn was a funny and
caring individual who made strong relationships whenever she met people. She
developed Multiple Sclerosis in her late 30's, which impeded her nursing career. She
was well adored by the nursing staff that worked with her. She enjoyed traveling
especially to Florida with her family. You could always catch her in the hair and nail
salon getting dolled up.
She is survived by her significant other David Greene, her two
children; Earl T. LaMay III and Ashley L. Greene (Corey Unser), her brother Gary J.
Buechs (Linda Buechs), and her grandson Bentley A. Unser.
Calling hours will be held at 9:00 am to 10:00 am at New Comer Cremations & funerals, 343 New Karner Rd., Colonie on Thursday, January 3, 2019. A funeral service will follow at 10am. Burial will follow the service at Graceland Cemetery.
