EAST BERNE – Lynne M. Foster, 56, passed away on Saturday, June 11, 2005 at The Hospice Inn at St. Peter's Hospital, surrounded by her loving family.
Lynne was born on November 21, 1948 in Albany to Margaret Richmond Cunningham and the late Felix Cunningham.
Lynne worked in food service for the Berne Knox Westerlo School District. She was president of the CSEA at Berne Knox Westerlo for the non teaching employees. She enjoyed vacationing at beaches and visiting lighthouses.
In addition to her mother, Lynne is survived by her husband of 36 years, Rodney M. Foster II of East Berne; two daughters, Deborah (Daniel) Knoll of Albany and Melissa Foster of East Berne; a sister, Aletha (Daniel) Baggott and a brother, Daniel (Maureen) Cunningham all of Albany; two beloved grandsons, Ryan and Justin Knoll and several cousins, nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday morning at 8:00 from New Comer-Cannon Family Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Road, Colonie (Rt. 155-south of Central Ave.) then to Historic St. Mary's Church on Capitol Hill at 9:00 where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated. Interment will follow at Our Lady of Angels Cemetery in Colonie. Calling hours will be Tuesday from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
