COLONIE - Madeline Frances Hunter, 94, of Colonie, NY, died on March 11, 2012, at Albany Memorial Hospital surrounded by her family,. Daughter of the late Peter M. and Rose M. (O'Neil) Scott, she was born in her grandmother's home in Brooklyn, NY on Christmas Day 1917. She was a homemaker and a former employee of the NYS Workmen's Compensation Board, retiring in 1972.
The widow of Meldon J. Wolfgang, Jr. (1913 – 1961) and William A. Hunter (1911 – 1982), she was also predeceased by her brother Walter P. Scott. She is survived by her only child Meldon J. Wolfgang III and his wife Patricia, her grandsons Meldon J. Wolfgang IV and his wife Sarah and Andrew J. Wolfgang, and by her great-grandchildren, Lola C. and Miles H. Wolfgang.
Funeral services will be private.
