Mae Jean Altrock

NISKAYUNA- Mae Jean Altrock, 88, of Niskayuna, passed away on Thursday July 8, 2010 at Ellis Hospital.
She was born in Schenectady and was the daughter of the late Sidney and Rachel Cromie. Jean had worked as a clerk for New York State Department of Motor Vehicle for twenty years, retiring in 1983. She was a member of the VFW Post 8692 Ladies Auxiliary and the Colonie Seniors at St. Clare's. Jean was predeceased in 2000 by her husband Raymond J. Altrock.
She is the beloved mother of Raymond D. (Barbara) Altrock, Lawrence A. Altrock and Dennis M. (Debbie) Altrock. Jean is the cherished grandmother of Jeffrey Altrock, Nicole Pinherio, Amanda, Sara and Heather Altrock.
Funeral services will be Monday afternoon at 1:00 at New Comer Cannon Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd. Colonie. A calling hour will precede the service from 12 noon to 1:00 at the funeral home. Interment will be in Memorys Garden. Memorial contributions may be made to the Disabled American Veterans.
