Margaret Cramer, 74, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, May 27, 2010 surrounded by her loving family. Margaret was born in Albany to the late Thomas and Florence Dacey. Margaret worked for the Colonie Police Department for many years in the records division until retiring in 2008. She was a life member of the ladies Auxiliary with the West Albany Fire Department. Margaret loved to spend her time with her family, especially her grandchildren and she was anxiously waiting the arrival of her newest grandchild. In addition to her parents Margaret was predeceased by her husband James Cramer, Sr. and 3 brothers.
Margaret is survived by her two loving boys; Patrick and Thomas and their wives Rhiannon and Jodi. She is the beloved grandmother of Aidan and Maggie. She is also survived by several brothers, one sister and many nieces, nephews, cousins and close friends.
Funeral services will be Tuesday, at 11:00 am at New Comer Cannon Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd., Colonie (rt.155 south of Central Ave). Calling hours will be Monday from 1 to 5 at the funeral home. Interment will follow the service at Memorys Garden, Colonie.
