Altamont- Maggie L. Vaughn, 75, passed away peacefully on Monday, July 10, 2023 with her loving family by her side. Maggie was the daughter of the late Dewey Vaughn and Earline Boyd.
Maggie worked as a nursing tech for the VA hospital until her retirement where she provided kind and compassionate care to the patients.
Maggie enjoyed spending time with her entire family and loved cooking Sunday dinners for them at her home. She was an avid dancer who enjoyed spending her free time playing spades. Maggie will always be known as the life of the party. She will truly be missed by all those who had the pleasure of meeting her and calling her their friend or family.
Maggie is survived by her son, Neylon A. (Adina) Wagner; grandchildren, Neylon R. Wagner, Sean A. Wagner, and Nickoli V. Wagner; great granddaughter, Nyseli Ahmi Sayoir Wagner; and many siblings, nieces, nephews, and friends.
Calling hours will be held at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 181 Troy Schenectady Road, Watervliet, New York 12189 on Tuesday, July 18, 2023 from 1pm to 3pm with a funeral service to follow at 3:00 pm.
