Schenectady- Mai Kestens, 75, passed away at home on Thursday, August 16, 2007. Born in Estonia she was the daughter of the late August and Ida Raid. A homemaker most of her life, Mai enjoyed time spent with her family. She loved taking care of her daschunds, collecting various pig knick knacks and sewing. Mai is predeceased by her husband of 35 years Raymond J. Kestens and her sister Aita Ilves.
Mai is survived by her three daughters; Jeanne Cooney of Schenectady, Judy Constantino of Albany and Jessica Kestens of Schenectady, her two grandchildren; Jarrod and Travis Constantino, her brother Kaljo Raid of Worcester, MA, her sister Inge Kojalo of Holden, MA and several nieces and nephews.
