Maida E. Quinn

CLIFTON PARK – Maida Elizabeth Quinn, 74, passed away on Saturday, March 3, 2012 at her home, surrounded by her loving family.
Maida was born on July 22, 1937 in Brockton, MA and was the daughter of the late Allan M. and Bernice G. (Pratt) Shepherd. She was the loving wife of 45 years to the late Herbert R. Quinn Jr. She was a wonderful wife, mother, mother-in-law and nana. She enjoyed needlepoint, crafts, cooking and was a fan of NASCAR, Dancing with the Stars and American Idol.
Maida is survived by her loving children, Kim (Gary) Robideau, Mary Beth (Jim) Farrar, Kathleen A. (Daniel) Quinn-Collado, William M. (Tammy) Quinn, Michael P. (Melanie) Quinn, John P. Quinn and Danial C. Quinn; her brothers, John L. (Patti) and Peter J. (Deborah) Shepherd; 18 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be 12 noon Friday at New Comer Cannon Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Road, Colonie. Calling hours will precede the service from 10:30 a.m. to 12 noon on Friday. Interment will be at the Gerald B.H. Solomon Saratoga National Cemetery in Schuylerville.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Community Hospice of Saratoga, 179 Lawrence St., Saratoga Springs, NY 12866 in memory of Maida Quinn.
