Maizel Williams

Maizel Azilla Williams, 92, passed away peacefully on Sunday, July 19, 2020 at Albany Medical Center with her loving family by her side. Maizel was the daughter of the late David and Verna (Knight) Williams.

Maizel was a member and a communicant of Church of God of Prophecy in Albany. She enjoyed spending time with her entire family and loved cooking for them.

In addition to her parents she was predeceased by her son, Alvin A. Grant, her grandson Alvin A. Grant, Jr.

Maizel is survived by her children, Winston Lowe, Oliver Aarons, Dahlia Reynolds and Benita Reynolds. She is the cherished grandmother of AnnMarie Aarons, Andrew Grant, TaKarra Victor, Jahnor Aarons, Jackson Aarons, Tanya Roach, Terrece Reynolds, Jerome Reynolds, Elmeisha Sturdivant and Immanuel Sturdivant.She is also survived by several great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and a host of family and friends.

Calling hours will be held at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 343 New Karner Road, Albany, New York on Thursday July 30, 2020 from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm. A funeral service will follow at 12:00 pm at the funeral home. Burial will follow the service at Graceland Cemetery, Albany.

Gathering size, within our chapels will be based on the most current NYS occupancy requirements.
Masks are required, and social distancing is to be observed inside and outside of our chapels.
