Malcolm "Mac" D. Muir of Troy, 73, passed away peacefully on Sunday, August 16th, 2015.
He was born April 11th, 1942, in Buffalo, NY, to the late John and Roslyn (Malcolm) Muir. He attended Frontier High School, followed by earning a Bachelor's degree from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. In College and later, Mac was active in the International Outing Club Association. After graduating, his work primarily involved computer design, a field in which he was involved in for over 30 years. He then decided to spend more time pursuing his interest in spiritual matters, combining his knowledge of science with the metaphysical. Mac was an active member of the National Theosophical Society.
He will be forever missed by his Wife of 47 years, Frances (Wilcox) Muir, two sons; John (Stephanie) Muir, and Thomas (Kayla) Muir, a daughter Gillian (Ed) Lapadura, and two grand daughters; Megan and Gyuri.
He was preceded in death by his Father, Mother, and Brother (John).
To honor Malcolm's wishes, he will be cremated and a memorial ceremony will be held at the discretion of the family.
