SCHENECTADY- Marcel Hudon, 84, formally of Massena, NY, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on Friday, May 8, 2015 at Kingsway Arms Nursing Home.
Marcel was born in St. Denis, Kamouraska, Quebec, Canada on July 16, 1930 to the late Joseph Charles and Margarite Hudon. Marcel was the loving husband of Jeannine Hudon. They were married 61 years.
Survived by his wife and nine children Michael (Jean), Denis (Barbara), Therese (David), Normand (Laura), Martin (Rebecca), Louise (Brian), Mary (Brian), Susan (Ray), Thomas (Tracy), 20 grandchildren, and 19 great grandchildren.
Marcel earned his degree at L'Institut de Technologie de Quebec in 1951, and retired from General Motors in 1988, after 30 years of service.
Marcel enjoyed Traveling, Sailing, Bridge, Dancing, Bowling, Shuffleboard, and many more activities but mostly spending time with his family.
Calling hours will be held at New Comer Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Road, Albany, NY on Friday, May 15, 2015 from 10:00-12:00, with a Catholic Service to immediately follow. Memorial gifts may be made to Cancer Research or Kingsway Community.
