Marcia L. Durfey, passed away peacefully at her home on November 19, 2023, with her loving family by her side.
She was born in Albany, NY to the late Thomas and Margaret Kelly, and was raised in Castleton, NY where she lived with her mom and beloved grandparents. She moved to Albany and attended Philip Livingston High School.
She worked at Audit & Control in Albany where She met her future husband, Leon C. Durfey, who passed away 2/19/1984. She also worked as a Medical Secretary for 36 years for Dr. S. Rahavy in Schenectady, NY.
Marcia is survived by her children, Douglas Durfey, (Cindy), Connie Isopo (Ron), Judy Humphrey (Mike); grandchildren, Jeremy Durfey (shay), Danielle Durfey, Olivia Isopo, Dante Isopo (Carolyn), Cassidy Kislowski (Brandon), Mcayla and Lindsey Humphrey; great-grandchildren, Seth, Gabe, Lauren and Ian Durfey, Santino, Milana and Luciano Varrone, Luca and Alida Isopo, and Dominico Paniccia; brother, Paul Kelly (Lois); sister, Sylvia Kelly; and her nieces & nephews. She also leaves behind her beloved pet companion, Niomi.
The family would like to thank their Aunt Susie and cousin Andrea for their continuous support and visits through this ordeal. They would also like to express their gratitude to Hospice, especially Missy, Jenny, Rachel and Lacie, for their compassion and care.
At the request of the family, services will be private.
