ALBANY - Marcia Veronica Pezzolla (Fish), 90, passed away peacefully on Friday, January 6, 2012 at the Hospice Inn at St. Peter's Hospital.
A native of Albany and lifelong resident of the Capital Region, Marcia was the daughter of the late Joseph and Mary (Walsh) Fish and the loving wife of the late Frank Pezzolla, her husband of 46 years.
Marcia was a graduate of Albany High School and worked as a drill press operator for the construction of large artillery at the Watervliet Arsenal during World War II. She was a devout Catholic, a voracious reader, enjoyed cooking and eating, and spending time with her family.
Marcia is survived by her sons, Peter Pezzolla (Susan); Stephen Pezzolla (Lisa); and Paul Pezzolla. Her grandchildren, David Pezzolla (Amy); Shannon Guastella (John); Paul Pezzolla, Jr.; John Pezzolla; Nicholas Pezzolla (Tracey); Elisabeth Draper (Jonathan); Joseph Pezzolla (Debby); Destiny Pezzolla; and John Shultz. Her great-grandchildren, Victoria Pezzolla; Leah DiPisa; Salvatore Pezzolla; Riley O'Rourke; Emma Pezzolla; Nicholas Guastella; Kristen Guastella; and a great-granddaughter on the way. In addition, Marcia is survived by several nieces and a nephew, and great-nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her siblings, Patricia Fish; Marion Mangelsdorf; Joan Zebrowski; Josephine Stangle; and Donald Fish; and her infant daughter, Mary Linda Pezzolla.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 9 a.m. on Monday, at All Saints Catholic Church, 1168 Western Ave, Albany, NY. Relatives and friends are invited and may call at New Comer Cannon Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Road, Sunday, from 3-7 p.m. Interment, Our Lady of Angels Cemetery, Colonie.
