Marcus Bruce White, 53, passed away on Wednesday, May 31, 2023 at Albany Medical Center with his loving family by his side.
Marcus was the son of Mark White and Loretta "Laurie" (Murphy) White.
He was an avid Yankee fan. Loved painting, watching Kung Fu movies, reading the New York Post, playing the Lottery and spending time with his family and friends, especially his care givers.
He was predeceased by his twin brother Mark A. White Jr. and his mother Alzora White and his grandparents.
Marcus is survived by his parents Mark and Laurie, his sisters and brothers, Shaun White, Mary Beth (Robert) Jahn, Shakera Symes, Adam Bailey and Sharonne Coleman. Dear friends Tina and Bob Jahn, many nieces, nephews and cousins. His many care givers at the McGovern and West Sand Lake houses especially Skye, Christina, Lavern, Cecelia, Joel and Amanda.
Calling hours will be held at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 181 Troy Schenectady Rd., Watervliet, NY on Saturday June 10, 2023 from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm. A prayer will be offered at 1:00 pm. A celebration of Marcus life will be celebrated at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Center for Disability Services 314 South Manning Blvd., Albany, NY 12208 or at www.cfdsny.org.
