Margaret A. Feisthamel, 78, passed away peacefully on Sunday, April 13, 2014.
She was born on September 27, 1935 to the late Wilfrid Savoie and Helena (Finger) Savoie.
Prior to retirement she was employed as a executive stenographer for the New York State Assembly.
Margaret enjoyed taking trips to Maine, cooking, sewing, loved photography and spending time with her family and friends.
Margaret is survived by her beloved Husband of 57 years, Harold J. Feisthamel, she is the cherished mother of Ann (Paul) Ferenczy, Kathryn Barrett, John (Angela) Feisthamel, James (Renee) Feisthamel, Susan (Zackery) Geddies and Lynn (Laurence Slack) Gardner. She is the adored grandmother of Kevin, Melanie, Bryan, Adam, Sarah, Jacob, Samuel, Zackery Jr., Luke, Aline and Leanna. She is also survived by her brothers, Edward (Helen) Savoie, Gerald Savoie, Richard (Linda) Savoie and many nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, April 16, 2014 at 11:00 am at Our Lady of Victory Church, 55 N Lake Ave, Troy, NY 12180. A calling hour will precede the Mass at the church. Interment will follow the Mass in Memory Gardens, Colonie.
The family would like to thank the entire staff, especially the 2nd floor at the Eddy Heritage House and to the staff at St. Peters ICU for all of the care and compassion given to Marge.
