COLONIE – Margaret A. Jubic, 93, entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, May 19, 2009. Born in Albany, she was the daughter of the late Philip and Mary Ellen Egan. Peg was a Colonie resident for most of her life. She was a member of the North Albany American Legion Post #1610 Ladies Auxiliary and a communicant of St. Pius X Church in Loudonville. Peg was an avid bowler and enjoyed crocheting. She was known for her famous applesauce wedding cakes. Peg was the beloved wife of the late John J. Jubic. She is the devoted mother of John P. Jubic. Peg is the cherished grandmother of Melissa Jubic Carroll, Tracy Jubic Cipriani and Kristin and Jennifer Jubic. She is the loving great-grandmother of Ryan and Melina Carroll and Ava and Evan Cipriani. Peg is the sister of Phyllis Egan, Betty Garhartt, James Egan, Philip Egan and the late Winifred Osl, Agnes Fournier and Vincent Egan. Also surviving are several nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited and may call on Tuesday morning from 8:30 to 10:30 a.m. at New Comer-Cannon Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd., Colonie (Rt. 155-south of Central Ave). A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. at St. Pius X Church. Interment will be in Memory's Garden, Colonie.
