Schenectady — Margaret M. "Margie" Breen (Koch), 66, passed away peacefully at her residence on Wednesday August 27, 2014 surrounded by her loving family. Born in the South End of Albany, NY, she was a graduate of Philip Schuyler and the daughter of the late Florence A. (Cozzy) and Thomas A. Breen.
Margie was a retired insurance agent from Pearl Carroll & Associates, where she will always remember the lasting friendships she made there. She also touched the hearts of her close, devoted friends. Margie was an avid Boston Red Sox fan and loved her dogs, attending festivals, shopping and preparing food dishes for any occasion.
Margie is survived by her husband, Donald Koch, four sisters, Patricia McWatters, Shirley Green (George), Kathleen Teller (James), Helen Bagley and five brothers, Joseph Breen (Chris), Thomas Breen, Michael Breen (Gary Cuzdey), Arthur Breen (Beth), Kevin Breen (Paula), and the late Robert Breen; plus many other nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews.
Calling hours for Margie will be held Saturday August 30th from 12 – 3 p.m. at New Comer Cannon Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd. A memorial service will follow the calling hours at 3 p.m.
