Margaret Lillian Briggs
September 17, 1947 — January 23, 2022
Margaret Lillian Briggs, 74, passed away peacefully on Sunday, January 23, 2022 at Diamond Hill Nursing Home with her loving family by her side.
Marge was the daughter of the late John and Norma Savaria.
She was the devoted wife of over 55 years to Raymond A. Briggs, Sr.
Marge proudly served with the United States Marine Corps.
Marge was an LPN with Visiting Nurses and loved caring for others.
She enjoyed camping, traveling and spending time with her family.
In addition to her parents she was predeceased by her sister Martha Savaria.
Marge is survived by her husband Raymond, her children Mary (Jason) Richards, Raymond (Teresa) Briggs Jr., and Scott (Beckie) Briggs. She is also survived by 9 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren, 3 brothers, 4 sisters and several nieces and nephews.
Entombment will be at a later date at the Gerald B. H. Solomon Saratoga National Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Wounded Warrior Project P.O. Box 758517, Topeka, Kansas 66675-8517 https://support.woundedwarriorproject.org in Marge's memory.
