Margaret Buckhannon, 83, of Manhattan, NY went home to be with the Lord on November 30th, 2021 surrounded by her loving family.

Margaret was a retired LPN Nurse for over 35 years. She was a member of Wilburn Temple C.O.G.I.C. Margaret loved to serve the church. She loved to travel & go out to eat. Margaret was the community Mom/Grandmother feeding and nurturing all who she came in contact with.

Margaret was predeceased by oldest Daughter, Patricia Buckhannon; Mother, Louise (Rev. Earl) Singleton; Father, Paul T (Martha) Ford; Sister's, Patricia (Milton) Minifee, Priscilla Scott & Paulette Ford.

Margaret is survived by her Son, Randolph (Karen) Walker; Daughter, Lynnette Medina; Sisters & Brothers, Grace Smith (Mack), Leonard Singleton, Mittie Rucker (William), Floyd Singleton (Andrea), Caesar Singleton (Jean), Nadir Muwwakkill (Jazz), Gloria Singleton; Grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Margaret had many close friends, but one of her dearest, her best friend for over 40 years, Inel Edney. Special thank you to Wanda Candelaria who Margaret often called her 3rd Daughter.

Visitation will be held along with her loving daughter, Patricia Buckhannon at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 181 Troy Schenectady Rd., Watervliet on Friday, December 10, 2021 from 7:00 am to 9:00 am. A Funeral Service will be held at the funeral home at 9:00 am. Interment will immediately follow in Albany Rural Cemetery, Menands.
