Margaret M. Danz

Margaret "Marge" M. Danz, 75, of Albany passed away on February 15, 2017 with her family by her side.
Marge retired from the NYS Dept. of Tax & Finance after many years of service. She was very active in the Woman's Bowling Association, was a member of the Polish American Citizens Club and loved golfing.
Marge was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and friend. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends at Camp Netzer. She will be very dearly missed.
She is survived by her children and stepchildren, Vera (Todd) Efing, M. Michelle (Douglas) Smith, Walter (Diane) Senke, Brian (Pam) Danz, Greg Danz, Jane (Ray) Manor, Linda (Bob) Manor, Ted Danz; grandchildren, Jennifer, Brianna, Monique, Ashley , Andrew , Teddy, Timmy, Todd, Kathleen, Carrie, Robert, Michael, Jason, Jennifer, Conner, Jane "Poopers", Amber, Chelsey; several great-grandchildren; brother, James Netzer; sister-in-law, JoAnne Netzer and her very best friend and sister, Bobbie Netzer and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Marge was predeceased by her husband of 27 years, Ted Danz and her brother, Frances "Butch" Netzer.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, February 17, 2017 at 10:30 am at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church, 607 Central Ave., Albany, NY 12206. Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 16, 2017 from 5-7 pm at New Comer Funerals & Cremations, 343 New Karner Rd., Colonie, NY 12205. Interment will be held at Our Lady of Angels Cemetery, Colonie, NY.
Memorial contributions may be made to The Community Hospice Foundation, 295 Valley View Blvd, Rensselaer, NY 12144.
