Margaret Ann Diefenderfer, age 79, wife of Anne L Kinsman died quietly on February 14, 2023 in her Albany, NY home.
Born on June 19, 1943 in Shenandoah, Pennsylvania, Margaret (Peggy) was the daughter of William E. and Margaret G. Aschman.
Peggy was a graduate of Pennsylvania State University and Bryn Mawr College. She worked as a social worker but made her main contributions in the estate planning firm, Legacy Financial Services, which she established in 1991. Peggy was a past president of the Bryn Mawr Club of Boston. She was an ardent fan of Penn State football.
She is survived by her son, John and his wife, Beverly Grossman of Menands, NY and a daughter, Lee Clark and her husband, David Clark of Plymouth, MA. She is also survived by her wife, Anne Kinsman of Albany, NY. Peggy will be remembered as Kinder by her five grandchildren: Abigail Clark, Charlotte Clark, Hunter Clark, Birtu Diefenderfer and Kefyalew Diefenderfer.
In lieu of flowers donations to the American Cancer Society would be welcomed.
