ALBANY – Margaret Doyle Gilbreath, 91, passed away on Wednesday May 18, 2005 at St. Peter's Hospital after a short illness.
Margaret was born on October 30, 1913 in Kerhonkson, NY to the late James R. and Anna Shultz Doyle.
Margaret was a pediatric nurse at the Mulenburg Hospital in Plainfield, NJ for many years before retiring in January 1970. She was an avid gardener and knitter and loved to dance in her later years.
Margaret is survived by her son, Timothy M. (Elizabeth) Bohler of Middleburgh; a sister-in-law, Edna Doyle; 4 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her husbands, Raymond Bohler, Fred Marchand, Bill McManigal and George Gilbreath and a special friend of 20 years, Wayne Byler; a brother, Richard Doyle and 2 sisters, Mary Lee and Margaret's twin sister, Jenny Van Aken.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday at 11 a.m. at the Medusa Church of Christ, Main St., Medusa, NY.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Medusa Church of Christ in memory of Margaret Doyle Gilbreath.
