Margaret E. Frasier

February 18, 1936 — November 4, 2022

Margaret E. "Pinky" Frasier departed this life and extended into external rest on November 4, 2022. She was born in Henderson, NC on February 18, 1936 to the late Claude and Ethel Brame. Margaret was a kind, beautiful, awesome and loving, wife, mom, sister, aunt, role model, friend and confidant. She deeply loved her family and friends and always displayed her love, joy and kindness. She was just fun and made everyone feel special.

Margaret graduated from Henderson Institute but at an early age she became a member of Welcome Chapel Baptist Church. In 1955 she moved to Schenectady, NY with her sister, and met the love of her life Hoyt Frasier. In 1960 they married and from this union they were blessed with two children: Charz and Quiznn Frasier.

Margaret retired from the Shenendehowa Central School District in 2000 where many called her the heart of the school food program. Everyone who had the good fortune to come into contact with Margaret was touched by her great warmth and generosity. She also volunteered for different organizations such as Meals on Wheels and various soup kitchens. Margaret loved cooking, gardening, and helping people. She was a member of the Friendship Baptist church where her pastor affectionately named her one of the church's "Golden Girls".

Margaret was predeceased by her parents, sister Myrtle Howard, brother Claude Brame, cousin Robert "Bobby-T" Dunston, sister-in Christ Ruth Edwards, and brother-in Christ Leonard Lee. She leaves to cherish her memory, husband Hoyt Frasier, daughters Charz and Quiznn Frasier, best friend Gloria Lee, nieces, nephews, her Friendship Baptist Church family, and a host of family and friends.

Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. November 11, 2022 at Friendship Baptist Church. At the families request, please observe social distancing protocol in the church. Interment will be held at Memory Gardens.

Memorial Donations may be made in Margaret's honor to Community Hospice, 179 Lawrence St., Saratoga Springs, NY 12866.

The Frasier family would like to express their heartfelt gratitude and appreciation to Margaret's aide Lori Farina, her nurse Ronnie Tucker, and her nurse and daughter-in Christ Daphne Jones, for their extraordinary support and care.
