Albany-Margaret A. Fuller, 92, passed away peacefully on Sunday, September 2, 2018 at the West Haven Assisted Living Facility.
Born on July 22, 1926 in Lansingburgh, a daughter of the late William and Mary Groesbeck Alcott. Margaret was a lifelong resident of the area, attending local schools and receiving her Master's Degree in 1948 from New York State Teacher's College. She worked for several years at General Electric in Schenectady.
Margaret was a long-time member of the Eastern Star, she was especially proud of serving as District Deputy Grand Matron with her husband Richard as Grand Patron in 1991.
Margaret was predeceased by her beloved husband of 60 years, Richard A. Fuller, who passed away in 2009, and her brothers and sisters.
Margaret is survived by her sons, Richard J. Fuller and Walter C. Fuller (Naomi); grandchildren, Nicole Sullivan and Matthew Fuller; nieces and nephews.
The family wishes to extend a heartfelt thank you to the staff at West Haven Assisted Living Facility, Albany Medical Center, Community Hospice and Choice Connections for their care and love of Margaret.
Calling hours will be held on Monday, September 10, 2018 from 6pm until 8pm at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 343 New Karner Road, Colonie. A private graveside service will be held at St. John's Lutheran Cemetery.
