Margaret J. Halvorsen, 80, of Delanson, passed away suddenly on August 14, 2022 after being involved in a car accident.
She was born in Schenectady, NY to the late William and Evelyn Green.
Margaret and her husband Richard were happily married for 59 years and resided in Schenectady County, where they raised their family. Margaret enjoyed gardening and farming and time with family.
Margaret and Richard are survived by their daughters Carol Thomas (Mike), Cathy Rickard (Tim), their grandchildren Jon Thomas, Tim Thomas (Amy), Eli Strong, and Isaac Strong as well as several cousins, nieces, and nephews. Margaret is also survived by her sisters Beatrice Boyer, Dora Murphy, and Harnet Sharpe.
A Celebration of their lives will be held at their residence on Saturday, August 27th, 2022 at 2pm. Family and friends are welcome.
