Margaret A. Heller

Margaret Anne Heller, 82, wife of Charles H. Heller of Schenectady, passed away peacefully Monday April 3, 2023 at Kingsway Arms Nursing Center.
Born December 27, 1940, in Binghamton, New York, she was the daughter of the late Lillian Spak and the stepdaughter of the late Michael Spak.
Mrs. Heller attended Chenango Valley High School and the State University of New York at Albany. She worked for twenty years as a computer programmer for the New York State Department of Children and Family Services.
She is survived by her husband Charles of Schenectady, NY, sons Christopher and his wife Tracy of Schenectady, NY and Patrick and his significant other Janet McCue of Phoenix, AZ, daughter Elizabeth and her husband Lawrence of Las Vegas, NV; seven grandchildren, Shawn of Troy NY, Tabbetha, Amanda, Jennifer, Max, and Brenna of Schenectady NY, and Kyle of Scotia NY; three great-grandchildren, brothers Michael of Colorado and Greg of Florida.
A memorial celebration will be held on Saturday, May 6th at 2:00pm,Immanuel Lutheran Church, 1850 Union Street, Schenectady, NY 12309.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Mohawk Hudson Humane Society, 3 Oakland Avenue, Menands NY 12204 or Animal Protective Foundation, 53 Maple Avenue, Schenectady, NY 12302.
