Margaret "Peggy" Judge, 92, passed away peacefully on Thursday, April 5, 2018 at the Teresian House with her loving family by her side.
Peggy was the daughter of the late William and M.Edythe Sullivan.
She was the devoted wife, of 53 years to the late Emerson J. Judge.
She was a life long resident of Albany and attended Blessed Sacrament School and Vincentian Institute. She was employed with New York State for over 17 years with the Division of Alcoholism until her retirement in 1993.
Peggy was a member and a communicant of Blessed Sacrament Church.
She enjoyed gardening, traveling to the ocean and spending time with her family.
In addition to her parents, Peggy was predeceased by her infant son, Edward, her son, Thomas Judge. She was also predeceased by her sister, Jeanette (Jay) Devine and her brother, William (Doris) Sullivan.
Peggy is survived by her children, Daniel (Jackie) Judge, Richard Judge and Nancy Hourigan. She is the adored grandmother of; Joseph (Mayra) Hourigan, Kelly (Jesse) Hession, Rick Judge, Kevin Judge, Dana Judge and Katie (Jason) Siska. The proud great grandmother, "G-G" to Emily and Madelyn Hession and several nieces, nephews, friends and family.
The family would like to thank the Teresian House, especially the second floor staff and the dedicated family and friends who visited and supported Peggy and her family, especially Reeny and MaryAlice. To Fr. John Bradley who visited, prayed, comforted and blessed Peggy and her family with God's guidance and love.
Funeral services will be Wednesday, April 11, 2018 at 9:00 am at New Comer Cremations & Funerals and then to Blessed Sacrament Church, Albany, where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10: 30 am. Calling hours will be on Tuesday, April 10, 2018 from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 343 New Karner Road, Colonie. Entombment will follow the Mass in the St. Agnes Cemetery (Menands).
Memorial contributions may be made to Blessed Sacrament Church, 607 Central Ave., Albany, NY 12206, in Peggy's memory.
