GUILDERLAND - Margaret A. Keil, 67, of Guilderland, passed away on Tuesday May 19, 2009 at St. Peters Hospital after a long illness.
She was born in Albany and was the daughter of the late Arnold V. and Margaret (Kenny) Prindle. Marge was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. Those who met Margie loved her for her warm, sweet and generous nature. Never thinking of herself, she shared her great joy of life with everyone around her, always most concerned with the happiness of the people she loved.
Marge is survived by her loving and devoted husband of 45 years, Joseph E. Keil. She is the beloved mother of Joseph V. (Kathleen) Keil and James S. Keil. Loving sister of Arnold V. (BettyAnn) Prindle, Mary P. Prindle, Joseph G. (Michelle) Prindle, Kathleen L. (Robert) Curran and Thomas M. Prindle. Sister in law of Rose Marie Steff and Carol (Michael) Audino. She is the loving grandmother of Michele Nobile and Sean Joseph Keil. Many nieces and nephews also survive.
Funeral services will be Saturday morning at 8:15 at New Comer Cannon Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd. Colonie then to Christ the King Church at 9:00 where the Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated. Calling hours will be Friday from 5 to 8 pm at the funeral home. The parish family of Christ the King will gather at 5:30 on Friday at the funeral home for a service of prayer and remembrance. All are welcome.
