Margaret Kosznik

Margaret "Peggy" Kosznik, 82, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, October 13, 2010. Peggy was born in Co. Clare Ireland on May 2, 1928. She was the daughter of the late James & Mary Keane. After completing school she went to England and worked in a hospital for several years. While in England, she met and married the late Feliks Kosznik. They were married almost 50 years. In addition to her parents, and her husband, Peggy was predeceased by her sisters Mary Gallager, Pauline Haran, Nonie Frawley, Imy McEnteggart, and Carmel King, and her brothers Jimo Keane and Patrick Keane.
Peggy is survived by her sisters Kathleen King, Eileen Brophy (Chicago) and Bridie Deegan of Ireland, and her brothers Senan Keane (Albany) and Thomas Keane (Chicago). She is also survived by several nieces and nephews, especially Steven and Lisa Keane, who helped care for her and made her happy.
Funeral services will be Friday at 1:30 p.m. at New Comer Cannon Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Road, Colonie (Rt. 155-south of Central). A calling hour will precede the service from 12:30 – 1:30 pm at the Funeral Home. Interment will follow at St. Agnes Cemetery, Menands.
