Margaret L. Holland

ALBANY, NY – Margaret L. Holland departed this life on June 11, 2008, after a long illness. She was born in Albany on August 9, 1938 and was well known as a barmaid at several Albany establishments, before retiring in 1998. Margaret is survived by her children, Darrell M. Brown, Raymond E. Holland, III, and Tammera L. Holland, all of Albany and Vanessa D. (Devan) Combs of Windsor, CT. She is the sister of James M. (Minnie) Brown of Rensselaer, NY. Margaret is also survived by her grandchildren, LaKeisha Tarver, LaTeeka Tarver, Taurean Holland, Shalya Abbott, LaMeeka Tarver, Sharaisia Holland, as well as seven great-grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her sister, Dorothy Klezak.
Funeral services will be Monday at 11:00 a.m. at New Comer-Cannon Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd., Colonie (Rt. 155-south of Central Ave). Calling hours will precede the service from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home. Interment will be in Graceland Cemetery, Albany.
