South Glens Falls- Margaret Anne Lafave, 79, passed away Thursday, October 17, 2024 with her loving husband by her side. Margaret was the daughter of the late John and Dorothy O'Keefe. Margaret was the devoted wife to David Lloyd Lafave.
Peggy worked as a baker at the Lancaster County Club in Lancaster, Pennsylvania before retiring from Vermont Academy as a Secretary.
Peggy is survived by her daughters, Amy Beth Haskell and Melissa (Eli) Miller; her 8 grandchildren; her 4 step-children, Amanda (Richard) Bureau, Jennifer (Tristen) Heiss, Colin (Anne) Lafave and Molly (Gerald) Thomas, brothers-in-law, Arthur(Jean) Lafave; Dell Lafave, his partner, Ildiko and 11 nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held at Sacred Heart RC Church, 50 Mohican St., Lake George on Saturday, November 23, 2024 from 10:00 am to 11:00 am. A Memorial Mass will be held at the church at 11:00 am. Inurnment will be held at a later date determined by the family in Fountain Hill Cemetery, Deep River, Connecticut.
Donations may be made in the memory of Peggy to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 2 Pine West Plaza #202, Albany, NY 12205.
