COLONIE – Margaret M. Appio Davenport, 86, passed away on Sunday, November 8, 2009 at her home.
Margaret was born in Albany. She was the daughter of the late Catherine M. Milham. She was also predeceased by her brother, Raymond Milham and her best friend, Virginia Trambeck.
Margaret worked at AT & T for 36 years as an accounting supervisor. She liked to travel and talk to all. No matter where she was she always met someone to talk with. Margaret has a heart of gold and would help anyone, anywhere. She liked to cook when in the mood, playing cards and in later years going to the Casino. She was the best mother and friend anyone could have.
Margaret is survived by her son, Frank Appio and his wife, Barbara; her four grandchildren, Catherine M. Bedford and her husband, Ryan, Michael K. Appio, Frank R. Appio, and Zachary P. Appio; her nephew, Richard Milham and his daughter, Amy; six great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandson. She is also survived by her loving friends, Irving Jensen and Martha Kyme as well as many more dear friends.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Memorial Mass at St. Clare's Church in Colonie at 9 a.m. Thursday. There will be no calling hours.
