Margaret M. Fasciglione

COLONIE – Margaret M. Fasciglione, 86, of Colonie, passed away peacefully on Saturday May 10, 2014 at Albany Medical Center Hospital, surrounded by her loving family.
Born in Rensselaerville, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Eva Miller. Margaret is the beloved Mother of Thomas P. (Susan) Fasciglione, Eva M. (Jeff) Myers, Linda A. (Lonnie) Addison, Ann M. Lynch, Dominick C. (Shireen) Fasciglione and Anthony E. (Kerri) Fasciglione. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren and one great great grandson.
Margaret had worked for many years as a nurse at Albany Medical Center Hospital, Albany County, Eden Park, Villa Mary, Ann Lee and Our Lady of Hope Nursing Homes. Margaret was a natural caregiver, an artist, a musician and a collector of people. Many were drawn to Marge for her open heart and open door.
Funeral services will be Thursday morning at 9:30 am at New Comer Cannon Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd. Colonie. Calling hours will be Wednesday from 4 to 7 pm at the funeral home. Interment will be in Our Lady of Angels Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Albany Police Athletic League (PAL), 844 Madison Ave, Albany, NY 12208 in memory of Margaret Fasciglione.
