Margaret M. Hatin

COLONIE – Margaret Moran Hatin, 89, of Colonie, passed away peacefully on Saturday November 20, 2010 at the Inn of Community Hospice at St. Peter's Hospital after a brief illness. She was born in Burlington, Vermont and was the daughter of the late Philip and Cora DeVoss.
Marge enjoyed gardening, knitting, crocheting, singing and rides in the country. She was always happy to be surrounded by her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Marge was predeceased by her husband Thomas J. Moran in 1963 and Lloyd Hatin in 2008.
She is survived by her children, Margie (Bob) Morrison, Thomas (Eileen) Moran, David (Kathi) Moran and Michael Moran. Marge is the sister of Walter DeVoss, Marion Spaulding and the late Philip DeVoss, Pearl Dumas and Fern Westervelt. She is also survived by 19 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be Tuesday morning at 8:30 at New Comer Cannon Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd. Colonie then to St. Clare's Church at 9:00 where the Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated. Calling hours will be Monday from 4 to 7 pm at the funeral home. Interment will be in St. Agnes Cemetery, Menands. Memorial contributions may be made to Community Hospice of Albany, 445 New Karner Rd. Albany, NY 12205 in memory of Margaret M. Hatin.
