Colonie- Margaret Strevell, 73, passed away on January 13, 2022 surrounded by her family.
She was born on June 26, 1948, daughter of the late Beatrice Irving in Albany, NY.
Peggy enjoyed doing arts and crafts. She will be remembered for her fun feisty personality and touched many throughout her life. She will be dearly missed.
Peggy was predeceased by her beloved husband of 54 years Ronald L. Strevell.
Peggy is survived by her 3 daughters, Suean McLaughlin (Charles), Cindy Strevell, Connie Rogers; brother, Robert Irving; brother-in-law, Matthew P. Strevell, sister-in-law, Joanne Boyd; grandchildren, Bethanie Deyo (David), Brianna Gonski (Bryan), Gabrelle Monroe (Brian), Jacob Flower, Samantha Tanner; great-grandchildren, Finlay Gonski, Declan Gonski, Eleanor Deyo and soon to be Arthur Monroe; her 4 legged friend, Taco and many other relatives and friends.
A Funeral Service to celebrate Peggy's life will be held on Thursday, January 20, 2022 at 12pm at New Comer Cremations and Funerals, 343 New Karner Rd., Albany, NY 12205. Calling hours will be from 10am-12pm prior to funeral services.
Interment will follow service at Gerald B.H. Solomon Saratoga National Cemetery.
