Margaret T. Habiniak

Margaret Habiniak, 90, passed away peacefully on Friday, January 27, 2012 with her family by her side. Margaret was predeceased by her loving husband George Habiniak and her parents Angeline and Giuseppe Genovese.
Margaret is survived by her beloved children; JoAnn (William) Cartwright, George (Sharon) Habiniak, Jr. and Steven Habiniak. She is the sister of Carmella Galvin and the cherished grandmother of; Bryan (Joey) Cartwright, Jason (Ann) Cartwright, Jarrett (Diana) Cartwright, Kyle (Anna Maria) Habiniak, Jeffrey Habiniak, Steven Habiniak and Brendan Habiniak. She is also survived by nine great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Margaret was a loving and devoted mother and grandmother who adored her family.
A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Wednesday at 10:00 am at St. Vincent de Paul's Church at 900 Madison Ave., at Partridge St. Interment will follow the Mass at Our Lady of Angels Cemetery, Colonie. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Albany Medical Center Foundation-Neurosciences Department, PO Box 8928 Albany, N.Y. 12208 in Margaret's memory.
