Margaret Tegiacchi

Guilderland- Margaret "Peggy" Tegiacchi: age 82, passed away on Wednesday, June 22, 2016 into God's arms with her loving family by her side. She was the beloved wife of Larry Tegiacchi. She was the daughter of the late Kathleen and John Rodgers.

Loving mother of her "angels": Kathy Taylor (Don Pompliano), Donna Harrington (Taylor), Rick Taylor (Cindy), and John Taylor; beloved step-mother of Pam Roberts and Pat Myers; adored grandmother of Robin, Bleu, Patrick, Kristine, Alyssa, Cody, Mike, Josh, Randy, and the late Brian Myers. She was also the great-grandmother of Kayla, Oliva, Owen, Nadia, Aubrey, J.J., and Lilli Rose, and one great-great- grandchild, Dominick.

Peggy worked for NYSUT for 26 years. She loved puzzles, working in her garden, going to yard sales, and feeding her backyard birds, but most of all she loved spending time with family and traveling to Florida to "get warm."

Mom's favorite saying was, "So what's going on in your world?"

She taught us all the meaning of unconditional love. The family encourages you to do a loving act of kindness in her name.

Calling hours will be held at New Comer Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Road, Albany, NY 12205 on Sunday, June 26, 2016 from 3:00pm-6:00pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, June 27, 2016, at Christ the King Church, 20 Sumter Ave, Albany, NY 12203 at 10am. Burial will be held at St. Agnes Cemetery, Menands, NY.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Peggy's name to either Community Hospice or the Alzheimer's Association.
