Margaret V. Lanahan

ROUND LAKE - Margaret V. Lanahan, 89, passed away peacefully on Saturday January 18, 2014 at the Wesley Health Care Center in Saratoga Springs. She was born in Kingston and was the daughter of the late Frank and Margaret Reil.
Marge was a floor manager for Friendly Home Toy Party's in Albany for many years. She enjoyed playing poker and was a member of the Malta Seniors.
She is the beloved mother of Jim (Debra) Lanahan, Norine (Ken) Batting, Gary (Sue) Lanahan, Marge Lowell (late Vern), Patricia (Larry) Ruggles and Laurie (Brian) Rice. She is the aunt of Nancy Purrott. Marge is also survived by 14 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be Thursday morning at 11:00 at New Comer Cannon Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd. Colonie. Calling hours will be Thursday morning from 9 am to 11 am at the funeral home. Interment will be in Our Lady of Angels Cemetery. At the request of the family, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105 in memory of Margaret V. Lanahan.
