Margaret B. Wray, beloved daughter of William and Jane Kelly, went to be reunited with her loved ones on December 12, 2020.
We were blessed to have her in our lives for over 100 years.
Peggy grew up in Dobbs Ferry, NY and married the late Eben Chabot in 1944. After relocating to the Latham area in 1964, Peggy worked for New York telephone, as well as The Yankee Peddler. She married the late William Wray in 1972.
She leaves behind her children, Jeanne Costello (Joseph) of Defreestville, NY and Kelly Chabot (Beth) of Saratoga Springs, NY. She had many happy memories of times spent with her grandchildren, Kristin Kosnik (Edward), Heather Culley (Ivan Fermon), Sean Costello (Megan), Megan Davey (Louis), Sam Chabot, Evelin Chabot Griffin (John), Will Chabot and Lia Chabot. Peggy had 15 great-grandchildren who loved hearing NanaPeg stories.
Peggy was a true fashionista, hating to miss a bargain, and always noting the latest wardrobe additions of her visitors. She remained an avid reader to the end and loved sharing stories of her life with family and friends.
Her last years were spent at Eddy Heritage House, Troy, NY where she was so well cared for by the third floor staff. Many thanks for all the love she received there.
Because of Covid, there will be no funeral services.
The family gratefully requests that any memorial contributions be made to Heritage House Activities Fund, 2920 Tibbits Avenus, Troy, NY 12180
