ALBANY- Marjorie "Margie" Whitman, 84, passed away on Friday, April 8, 2016, with her loving family by her side.
Margie was born in Albany, NY on February 23, 1932 to the late Roy and Lottie Bagley. She was one of 21 children. Margie was the wife of the late Eugene Whitman for over 50 years. Together they had six children. She will be remembered for her love of bingo, and playing cards. Her passion in life was her big family.
She is predeceased by her loving husband, Eugene.
She is survived by her children; Bonnie Brantigan, Eugene "Skip" Whitman Jr., David Whitman, Isabell Whitman, Dennis Whitman, and Patrick Whitman, her six sisters, her two brothers, her 20 grandchildren, and several great-grandchildren.
Calling hours will be held at New Comer Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Road, Albany, NY 12205, on Tuesday, April 12, 2016 from 4:00pm-8:00pm. A funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday, April 13, 2016, at 10:00am. Burial will take place at Calvary Cemetery, Glenmont, NY.
