Watervliet- Margit Engel, 71, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, September 18, 2018.
Margit worked for the Stratton VA Medical Center in Albany as a pharmacy assistant for most of her life. Margit was also active in her community giving her time to many senior citizen organizations. She was also a devoted member of the Lutheran Church of the Resurrection of Latham.
Margit is survived by her daughter, Tammy Seres (John) and her granddaughter Marisa Seres. She is also survived by many friends locally, her two siblings and many nieces and nephews all living in Denmark.
A calling hour will be held on Sunday, September 23, 2018 from 1:00pm-2:00pm at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 181 Troy Schenectady Road, Watervliet, New York 12189. A memorial service will follow starting at 2:00pm. Interment will be at the convenience of the family.
