Marguerite A. Anderson, 73, of Schenectady, passed away on July 23, 2023 at Ellis Hospital.
She was born on in Schenectady to the late Edison and Joyce (Suits) Handy.
Marguerite was a life long resident of the capital region and worked as a nurse for 25 years at Ellis hospital. She was an avid reader and enjoyed being with friends.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her loving husband of 18 years Bennie Anderson and her son Robert O'Rourke.
Marguerite is survived by her sister Nancy (Konrad) Langlie, her beloved cat Spirit and her dear friends Cal and Lisa.
Visitation will be held Monday July 31st from 10am-11am with a service to follow at 11am at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 343 New Karner Rd Colonie, New York.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Animal Protective Foundation, 53 Maple Ave Schenectady NY 12302
