NISKAYUNA -Marguerite "Marge" Hale, 81, passed away peacefully on Saturday, September 10, 2011 at Our Lady of Mercy Life Center, surrounded by her loving family. Marge was born in Elizabeth, New Jersey to the late Heinrich and Marguerite (Snyder) Boetticher. In her earlier years Marge loved to paint, she was an avid swimmer; an active member of St. Joseph's Church, volunteered with Hospice and truly enjoyed spending time with her family. In addition to her parents, Marge was predeceased by her beloved husband, Wesley Hale; her brother Henry F. Boetticher, who was killed in action in the Korean War and her dear friend, Tom Smith.
Marge is survived by he loving children, Wesley (Doris) Hale, Victoria (Paul) Koslowski; her cherished grandchildren, Amy (Paulo) Ordoveza, Robert Koslowski, Cary LaManche, Wesley (Kristen) Hale, April Grady, Jason (Mary) Grady and her beloved great-grandchildren Evelyn, Jeremy and Lucas. She is also survived by her best friend, Bianca Brown.
The family would like to thank the entire staff with Our Lady of Mercy Life Center and Community Hospice of Albany and to Sister Marianne Kennah, MJ Perkins and Michele Shields for all of their care and compassion given to Marge.
Family and friends are invited and may call on Tuesday from 4 to 7 at New Comer Cannon Funeral home, 343 New Karner Road, Colonie. Funeral service and interment will be at a later date in New Jersey. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to, Our Lady of Mercy Life Center c/o St. Peters Hospital Foundation, 319 S. Manning Blvd. Ste. 114, Albany, NY 12189 in Marge's memory.
