HOOSIER, MARIAN (BELL)
CLIFTON PARK – Marian E. (Bell) Hoosier, 85, passed away on Wednesday, May 16, 2012 at Samaritan Hospital after a long illness. Born in New York City, she was the daughter of the late Harvie and Florence Bell.
Marian worked for many years as a waitress at the Turf Inn, Quality Inn and the Americana. She was lifetime member of the VFW Post 8692 and the Elks Lodge in Colonie. She enjoyed spending time at the family camp on Sacandaga Reservoir.
Marian is survived by her loving husband of 28 years, Edward Hoosier.
A funeral service will be held on Tuesday at 1:00 pm at New Comer Cannon Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Road, Colonie. Calling hours will precede the service from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm at the funeral home. Interment will be in St. John's Lutheran Cemetery, Colonie. Memorial contributions may be made to the VFW Post 8692, 140 VFW Drive, Albany, NY 12205 in Marian's name.
