Marian Perrino

Marian C. Perrino, 77, ascended into God's arms after a long battle with cancer on Friday June 1, 2007 at her home in Delmar with her loving family by her side. Born in Albany, NY, she was the daughter of the late Catherine and Pasco Perrino and sister of the late Patrick Perrino. She is survived by her daughter Catherine C. Zwack, son-in-law Jesse J. Zwack, and two grandchildren Crystal M Zwack and Amber S. Zwack as well as many extended family and friends and her beloved cat, Baby.

Marian worked at the V.A. Hospital in Albany as a medical supply technician for many years until her retirement in 1995. She was a strong and wise woman with a heart of gold. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends and she was known for her sense of humor finding laughter in life even as her last days were coming to an end.

The family would like to extend their heartfelt appreciation to the Albany Community Hospice Homecare team and to Dr. Collea and the office of Oncology at Albany Medical Center for the special care and comfort shown to Marian.

Family and friends are invited to a memorial service on Wednesday at 7:00pm at NewComer-Cannon Family Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd. Colonie (Rt. 155-south of Central Ave). Calling hours will be Wednesday from 5 to 7 pm at the funeral home, prior to the service. A graveside service will be held on Saturday June 16th at Calvary Cemetery, Glenmont at 11:00am.
